Lindsey Nieman

Ph.D., BCDNM, RDN, LD, LMFT, BCN, CLT, Certified Integrative Trauma Coach, Reiki I & II Certified

Lindsey Nieman, Ph.D., RDN, LD, LMFT is a staff therapist and dietitian at Cornerstone. She earned her Doctorate in Natural Medicine from Quantum University. She also has a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and an undergraduate degree in Business Management from the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM). She earned a second undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Louisiana Tech University and finished her dietetic internship through the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. She is a registered dietitian and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Oklahoma as well as a Neurofeedback practitioner certified with BCIA.


Lindsey is also a certified Emotional Freedom Technique and energy-tapping practitioner. She uses this certification along with her NES health bioenergetics assessments to help clients find more precise healing. Lindsey is a member of the Institute of Functional Medicine and has completed all coursework offered through this organization.


Lindsey is passionate about helping individuals achieve a healthy lifestyle physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. She combines her knowledge of natural healing principles with her nutrition and Marriage and Family Therapy training to provide her clients with a more complete approach to health. Recently Lindsey has completed training in Somatic experience and Reiki I and II certification. Both of these therapies can be used with clients experiencing some level of trauma or intense emotions. These therapies help target the nervous system and regulate its functioning by facilitating new experiences in the body. Lindsey is also in charge of the functional and integrative health program and aims to assess client needs on all levels of health and help direct them toward therapies that match their needs.


Lindsey is currently accepting new clients in the office or through Telehealth appointments. Future clients can expect a detailed initial intake to evaluate health from a more holistic perspective. Lindsey approaches client care as a collaboration between client and practitioner and works to empower and educate individuals so that they have the power and knowledge to take charge of their health and healing.


Lindsey is married to Dr. Kevin Nieman, founder and director of Cornerstone and together they have two beautiful boys. Lindsey enjoys spending time on their land raising chickens and gardening to provide fresh, nutritious food for her family. She also enjoys exercising, spending time in nature, hiking, camping and cooking.
