Philosophy of supervision

My philosophy of supervision is based on my Christian values and the words of Christ revealed to us in scripture. Throughout the supervision experience I will use these teachings and perspectives to guide us through working with clients and each other.
I have a relational and experiential approach to supervision. We will focus not only on building relationships within the client's system, but on the therapeutic relationship of the therapist with the client(s). During supervision, we will not only focus on client cases, but I will also challenge each supervisee to discover who they are as a therapist. This will include helping the supervisee understand his/her own philosophy and approach of therapy. We will also spend time focusing on ethics, state regulations, and material related to passing the MFT exam.
If you are interested in supervision please feel free to make an appointment to discuss your supervision needs and vision. I currently offer both full time and part time supervision based on your client caseload. Contact my office at 918-392-4008 or email knieman@cornerstoneoftulsa.com for more information.
