Cornerstone's Philosophy of Supervision
At Cornerstone, our approach to supervision is rooted in our Christian values and the teachings of Christ. We believe that effective therapy requires not only strong clinical skills but also a foundation of compassion, empathy, and ethical practice.

Our philosophy of supervision is guided by the following principles:

-
Relationship Building: We emphasize the importance of developing strong relationships within the client's system and fostering a positive and supportive therapeutic alliance between the therapist and client.
-
Self-Discovery: We believe that self-awareness is crucial for effective therapy. We guide supervisees/interns in exploring their own values, beliefs, and biases to ensure they are delivering culturally sensitive and client-centered care.
-
Clinical Excellence: We provide rigorous training and support to help supervisees/interns develop strong clinical skills and knowledge. We utilize various supervision methods, including case studies, role-play, and group discussions, to ensure supervisees/interns are prepared to handle a wide range of clinical challenges.
-
Ethical Guidance: We uphold the highest ethical standards in our practice and equip supervisees/interns to do the same. We provide comprehensive training on ethical codes, state regulations, and best practices in therapy.

We offer both full-time and part-time supervision options to meet the individual needs of our supervisees. We encourage you to contact us to discuss your supervision needs and explore how Cornerstone can support your growth as a therapist.
